- 目の後方が白い、森林の小鳥。

- 雌雄同色。
額から後頭は黒暗緑色、背かの上面は暗緑褐色。嘴は黒く目先は単色で、目の上から後方が白く、目の下から耳羽が黒い。虹彩は褐色。喉からの下面は白く、胸から脇は黄色。脚は鉛色。
